Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to get away and take a vacation with your special someone. So, where should you go? I decided to ask a few of my travel blogger friends to share their SEXIEST places to spend Valentine’s Day. While some people’s vision of a sexy vacation is a week of sun & fun on the beach, and other’s would prefer some alone time in a far-off place.

Adam and I make it a point to be on vacation every Valentine’s Day. Last year we were exploring the Philippines,  the year before in 2013 we were beach bums in Tulum, Mexico, and 2012 we got married on the beaches of Negril, Jamaica just 2 days before Valentines Day. This year we will be in Koh Lipe, Thailand our favorite island in the world. For us a sexy way to spend Valentines Day a gorgeous beach.

#7) Yasawa Islands, Fiji

The Yasawa Islands in Fiji have everything you need for a sexy romantic getaway. Start your trip with a seaplane ride over the crystal clear waters and corals to get to your resort. The views from the plane with leave you in awe and get your romantic trip off to an amazing start. As soon as you step off the plane you will realize that you’re in paradise! We stayed in a private bure (beach hut) right on a coral beach and spent 10 nights waking up & falling asleep to the waves crashing outside.

For a romantic afternoon just pack a picnic and head to suntan beach, which only exists at low tide. Have an entire private beach to yourself, crystal clear waters, and white soft sand between your toes. What else could be sexier?

Our sexiest place to spend Valentine’s Day would have to be a cruise down Germany’s dramatic Rhine River. After all, they call it the “Romantic Rhine” for a reason with its ancient castles extending above the cliffs, terraced vineyards draping the hillsides, and quaint villages beckoning you into their colorful houses and shops. We recommend sharing a bottle of Rhine wine while you cruise, some of the finest wine we’ve ever tasted. When the cruise is over, you can slip away to one of the many idyllic villages and cozy up in a charming B&B for the evening.

The sexiest place to spend Valentines Day this year is Easter Island. Why? Because if a secluded wooden cabin in a cozy B&B with sweeping views over the Pacific Ocean on one of the most remote locations on earth doesn’t scream romance and sex, I don’t know what does!

Easter Island is on the bucket list of almost every traveler, and witnessing firsthand the famous monumental statues created by the early Rapa Nui people is one of the fascinating experiences of a lifetime. The island is remote (the most remote in the world), and the views are incredible. Isolation means limited connectivity, so you truly have the chance to connect with your partner and enjoy each other’s company free of technology and distractions from the modern world. Rent a quad bike and blitz around the island while holding onto each other tightly. Drive past wild horses roaming freely up and down a dramatic coastline, and enjoy isolation from humanity and the rest of the world.

What could be sexier than a cocktail in your hand, a swimsuit on and the sparkling hypnotic blue of the ocean bordered by swaying palm trees? Ambergris Caye in Belize is a tiny island where the primary mode of transport is a golf cart. It’s the perfect getaway this Valentines Day.”

#1.) El Nido, Palawan Island, Philippines

So exotic it is said to have been the inspiration for the movie “The Beach”. It’s impossible not to be mesmerized by the turquoise waters that are surrounded by imposing limestone cliffs. It’s more than just the jaw-dropping landscape that makes it such a sexy place, it’s the remoteness. We spent a day on the beach only seeing a handful of people – and for a beach this beautiful that is extremely rare. If I was stranded on a beach with the person I loved for the rest of my life, it would have to be the beaches of El Nido.
