Summertime is precious to us and we like to spend as much time as humanly possible outdoors during this time of the year. When we are home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin you can find us on the lakefront hanging out on the beach or exploring one of the main trails nearby. We also find ourselves on the road a lot in the summer and we need gear that can keep up. We are always on the lookout for things that make our time outdoors better and easier. While the summer sun might feel nice, spending too much time under it can really damage your skin. Our favorite new piece of travel gear is our new beach tent. On days when we plan to spend the day on the beach, we get there early and set up our Summer Lovin’ Beach Tent. In under 10 minutes, we have our very own shady spot right on the sand. The tent comes with a compact carrying bag to hold everything and it’s easy to bring along on a trip to a local beach, on a road trip or even in your luggage.
Aside from being practical, the beach tent is also stylish with its canvas top with a trendy print. We can easily spot our tent from across the beach and it’s the best looking one on the sand. We went with the red zig-zag pattern, but we had a tough time choosing between the options.
Treeo Hammock
Another item we’ve used a lot this summer is the Treeo hammock. This tough nylon hammock folds up into a tiny pouch that’s easy to throw in a backpack or even a beach bag. All we need is a couple of trees and we are lounging off the ground. As nice as it is to have a travel hammock, it’s more than that, it also converts to a wind fly for unexpected rain showers, or we spread it our as a blanket or even under a tent to keep out the moisture. Most times we use it as a hammock and it’s big enough and strong enough to fit us both. We love travel gear like this that serves multiple purposes so we can travel lighter without giving things up.
Lagu Sand Repellent Towel
We are beach people at heart and any chance we get we are sitting in the sand. This towel is perfect for us because it rolls up into almost nothing, but what means it unique is that the sand doesn’t stick to it. This keeps the sand on the beach and not our vehicle and our bags. This is especially important to us because we often bring our camera to the beach and sand can destroy photo equipment faster than water can. We have one of these in the trunk of each of our cars for an unplanned trip to the beach or picnic.
