Sydney is a town full of iconic landmarks and we got the chance to see them from a unique point of view: the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge!
Who can say they have climbed a bridge? It’s as cool as it sounds, and the views from the 440 ft summit (134 meters) is worth the trip alone.
One of my favorite parts of the climb was standing next to the massive flags at the top. From street level, these pieces of blue white and red look small compared to the bridge itself, but when you are up close to them it puts it all in perspective.
If you are visiting Sydney, climbing to the top of the Harbor Bridge is definitely a cool way to see Sydney. We climbed with Bridge Climb Sydney, located on Cumberland street in the rocks district of town.

That's a pretty cool walk. I had no idea you could walk up there.

Glad you guys enjoyed it.. we did the sunset climb and found it to be the most overly priced, least favorite thing about our entire 14mths on the road! Perhaps, since our guest house was just on the other side of the bridge from the Quays, we walked over the bridge 2-6 times a day, we weren't as enthralled with the whole experience as others seem to be.
