The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok is in the best location for first-timers spending 3 days in Bangkok, business travelers, or people like us that love Bangkok so much we keep coming back. It’s located right on Sukhumvit and Soi 19, across the street from the shopping mall Terminal 21.

The Westin Grand is steps away from BTS Asoke station that connects to the popular shopping area Siam, which is 4 stops away or a 3km walk. Taking the BTS in Bangkok is super easy, everything is in English & Thai, and the subway is super clean. There is a no-food rule!

A serious bonus about the Westin’s location is that it’s one of the few points in the city where you can catch both the BTS and the MRT subway systems right outside the front door. Having access to these lines puts the city at your fingertips.

Breakfast Buffet

There are tons of things to do in Bangkok and even a few day trips like visiting the Maeklong train market in which you’ll need a big breakfast to fuel your day. The breakfast buffet at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok is full of tasty options to fuel your day exploring Bangkok.

I loved the frozen yogurt station where they hand mixed in the toppings of my choice. Adam loved the bacon, cheese selection, and dumplings. No matter what you like for breakfast, there is something for everyone.

Rooftop Pool

Outdoor pool at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok

There is no better place to come and relax after a busy day in Bangkok. Cool down in the rooftop pool looking out over Bangkok’s amazing skyline. If you are lucky, you might be there for one of the Westin’s famous pool parties!

Watch Bangkok come to life from your room or the rooftop pool. I love watching the traffic zoom by or sometimes not moving at all. Don’t worry, you can’t hear any of the noise in your room. The views of Bangkok are spectacular from the Westin Grande, or if you are looking for a happy hour sunset place, head to Red Sky Bar Bangkok for 2-for-1 drinks on the 55th floor!
