Once in Hue, you will see several travel agencies selling bus tickets to cities all throughout Vietnam. After shopping around at a few we realized they are all the same price. We settled with booking with the agency closest to our hotel. We booked the day before, made sure we had an A/C bus with reclining seats. There were 2 departures, we went with the 8 a.m. the schedule and office location is:

The bus picked us up at the travel agency we booked at, which was right around the corner from our hotel. This was great as we didn’t have to bargain with a taxi driver to bring us to the bus station.

The bus ride went quickly and dropped us off at the bus station in Hoi An. Once in Hoi An, we had to grab to our hotel, as most tourists hotels aren’t near the bus station.
