The restaurant is surrounded by lush foliage and towering Norwegian pine trees while also boasting panoramic views of the sparkling Mirror Lake. Their extensive menu is also particularly noteworthy, with dishes like Beef Tenderloin Medallions, Roast Wisconsin Duck, and Twin Lobster Tails.

If you’re looking to score a table by the window, we recommend avoiding the dinner crowd and coming before 5:00 PM or after 8:00 PM. Even if you have to wait for a table, we guarantee that the delicious meal with be worth every minute. An award-winning restaurant with picturesque views like this one will always be worth the wait.

2. Del Bar

Luxury dining at its finest, Del Bar manages to whip up some of the best dishes in Wisconsin while still maintaining a relaxed, casual atmosphere. This supper club has been in business for over 75 years, and it has been passed down through three generations of families. Attracting both locals and visitors, Del Bar continues to be one of the best restaurants in Wisconsin Dells.

Del Bar is notoriously famous for its dry-aged steaks and fresh oysters. You can also add different sides to your entrée, like marrowbone butter, roasted organic mushrooms, or even steamed lobster tails. If you’d rather indulge in something lighter, they also have different salads, soups, and vegetable-centric entrees to choose from. For those craving fish, we recommend coming on Friday for their fish fry. The fish is boiled, or breaded North Atlantic Cod served with bread rolls, salad, and slaw.

This snazzy, old-school eatery is one of the most beloved supper clubs in all of Wisconsin Dells. For over 54 years, House of Embers has served up traditional Wisconsin cuisine along with affordable thirst-quenching drinks and cocktails. Don’t take our word for it – you can enjoy discounted drinks and from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM during their daily happy hour.

Their menu has something for every taste and palette, from their crispy truffle fries and hickory-smoked BBQ ribs to the prime rib flatbread and Alaskan king crab legs. Their steak menu is also quite impressive, and it includes steak choices such as ribeye, black Angus, filet mignon, and New York strip.

Along with their daily happy hour, House of Embers also has a discounted menu for early birds who don’t mind eating before 6:00 PM. Their most popular entrees (like steak and ribs, BBQ chicken, and Walleye Pike) are available with all the trimmings and sides for one low price.

4. B-Lux Bar and Grill 

B-Lux isn’t your average burger joint! The burgers at B-Lux Bar and Grill aren’t just massive, but they also come with some of the craziest toppings. Try their Frenchie Burger (brie and caramelized onions), Buffalo Blue Chicken (buffalo sauce and crumbled blue cheese), or the Cheesehead (fried cheese curds and chicken-fried bacon). This mouthwatering menu also includes fun favorites like mac and cheese, mini corn dogs, loaded chili tater tots, and cheesy jalapeño poppers.

After indulging in such delicious food, you’ll also want something nice and refreshing to wash it all down with. B-Lux Bar and Grill is known for its thick and creamy milkshakes (with or without alcohol) in a variety of wacky flavors like salted caramel popcorn, Nutella doughnut, Fruit Loops and marshmallow, and strawberry cheesecake. 5. MACS Macaroni and Cheese Shop

Is there anything more satisfying than a hearty plate of gooey macaroni and cheese? We don’t think so – that’s why MACS Macaroni and Cheese Shop is one of the best restaurants in Wisconsin Dells. 6. Monks Bar & Grill

Serving the same recipe since its grand opening in 1947, Monks Bar and Grill is famous for its juicy grilled burgers. Since their first restaurant opened over 70 years ago, Monks has expanded to seven different locations around the Wisconsin area. So you can trust they know a thing or two about delicious burgers!

Their Wisconsin Dells branch is the original location, located right in the heart of Broadway. Their patties are a whopping 1/3 pounds and accompanied by Monks signature pickles and a helping of beer-battered French fries. 8. Mr. Pancake

Start your day off right with a freshly flipped batch of homemade pancakes. For over 50 years, Mr. Pancake has been serving breakfast to hungry locals and visitors from around the world. Tourists trek far and wide to try their delectable secret family recipe of ultra-fully pancakes. Although the original Mr. Pancake is no longer alive, his legacy is kept alive by his family members to this day.

There are dozens of pancakes on the menu, ranging from traditional to absurd. Buttermilk pancakes, potato pancakes, fruit pancakes, and Swedish pancakes are just a few of their popular menu items. Early birds can receive 10% off their pancakes if they place their order before 9 am!

9. Paul Bunyan’s Northwoods Cook Shanty

The rustic cabin interior and logging-themed décor make Paul Bunyan’s Northwoods Cook Shanty one of the most unique places to dine in Wisconsin Dells. Sit down at the checkered tablecloth and admire the Paul Bunyan and Babe artifacts and décor that will have you feeling like you stepped back in time the 1800s. 

You better come hungry, because this family-style restaurant is all you can eat! Although they have a variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch items on the menu, do yourself a favor and snag a batch of their sugar donuts straight away. These fried, sweet treats are made in-house each morning by dedicated bakers that arrive hours before the morning crowds roll in. Their bakery also sells cookies, bread, cinnamon loaves, and other mouthwatering snacks that you can take with you.

10. High Rock Café

If you’re looking for a place to eat that has an innovative menu that uses locally sourced and fresh ingredients, make sure to book a table at the High Rock Café. Mixing traditional American flavors with international ingredients and recipes, the High Rock Café is one of the most original restaurants in Wisconsin Dells. It was founded by two high school friends in 2004, who used their passion for travel and cooking to inspire the café’s creative menu.

Try their Kiss Me Not Burger (made with whole roasted garlic cloves), their Zippy Hippy Wrap (with fresh vegetables and crushed wasabi peas), or their pan-seared Fish tacos (served with fresh flour tortillas).

The High Rock Café also has different specialties each day of the week such as their weekly Fish Fry. Every Friday, you can order beer-battered, deep-fried cod with an assortment of delicious sides like potatoes, coleslaw, and sauteed vegetables. Thursdays are High Wok Thursday, which means you can indulge in Asian favorites like sesame chicken, vegetable lo mein, and pork fried dumplings with egg rolls. Or come for Saturday night dinner and try their slow-roasted prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and creamy horseradish sauce. These entrees are only available once a week, so make sure to plan accordingly if you have your heart set on them!
